Connected provider data can support work without proving governance
Andros's current network-lifecycle page describes an integrated ecosystem connecting recruitment, credentialing, contracting, monitoring, optimization, directories, and provider data. It distinguishes provider data management as the work of capturing, cleaning, validating, and maintaining provider information, then describes the broader lifecycle as the way data moves into operational processes. It also argues that coordination among purpose-built components matters more than one monolithic system.
That distinction is useful for oversight. Accurate, current provider fields can feed a delegated workflow, but the fields do not show which organization was authorized to perform which task, which criteria and sources applied, whether qualified reviewers handled exceptions, who made the final decision, or whether the delegating organization conducted required monitoring. Data movement is an operating dependency; delegation and oversight are governed relationships with their own evidence.
Write delegation as a task, authority, and population map
A defensible record should name the delegating and delegated legal entities, product and provider population, jurisdictions, effective dates, standards or contractual criteria, delegated and retained tasks, collection and primary-source-verification sources, credentialing and recredentialing authority, committee or approval roles, excluded cases, subcontractors, turnaround and quality measures, incident and correction duties, audit rights, reporting cadence, remediation, termination, and downstream data recipients.
The map should keep collection, verification, recommendation, committee action, payer or medical-staff decision, enrollment, contracting, participation, directory publication, and monitoring as separate states. One organization may perform several steps, but the record must show the authority for each. A provider can be complete in a delegated credentialing workflow while still pending enrollment, contract loading, facility action, or another retained decision.
Preserve provenance when provider data moves downstream
Each material field should retain the provider identity, source, verification or observation method, source date, effective and expiration dates, reviewer, correction history, confidence or unresolved conflict, and the exact downstream records that consumed it. Credentials, specialties, locations, affiliations, and availability change on different schedules and may carry different authority. A synchronized field should not be treated as current merely because the interface ran successfully.
Oversight evidence should then show population reconciliation, timeliness, exception and appeal handling, sample selection, file review, source accuracy, committee records where applicable, complaints, incidents, corrective actions, repeated defects, subcontractor controls, and management decisions. Reviewers should trace each field to its source, identify the delegated and retained owner, see every downstream correction, reproduce the oversight sample, and suspend only the correctly scoped status when an exception remains unresolved.

Record what official documentation establishes, what a provider states, what the team observes, and what remains unresolved.
A defensible review also identifies the dependency outside the product. Authority interpretation, policy configuration, data quality, integrations, human judgment, approval rights, release governance, training, and retained evidence may remain customer or service responsibilities. The evaluation should preserve those boundaries instead of treating a technology claim as the complete operating model.
